Turning a signed proposal into work
A signed proposal becomes work on your schedule. By default the whole thing becomes one job, however many lines were on the quote. An eight-line proposal is usually one visit, not eight.
One job, by default
That's the common case and it's what happens if you don't intervene. The job carries the work from the proposal.
Splitting it
If the work is genuinely several visits, you can split the lines across jobs. Every line lands on exactly one job (none duplicated, none dropped), so what you quoted and what you schedule can't quietly diverge.
The proposal changes state
Creating the first job flips the proposal from approved to converted: this agreement is now work.
