Pricing, tax, and invoice defaults
Settings → Pricing & invoicing holds how you charge, your price book, your tax rate, how long customers have to pay, and whether completing a job sends an invoice or leaves a draft.
How you charge
Hourly, a price per job, or a price book. Whichever you pick is the default; a price set on an individual job still wins.
The price book
A price for each service type. Jobs remember the price at the moment the service was chosen, so raising a price later doesn't rewrite work you already booked.
Tax and terms
A tax rate if you charge one, and how many days a customer has to pay. The terms are what makes an invoice go overdue.
What happens when a job is done
Draft, send, or nothing. New accounts start on draft.
