What shows on an invoice, and where to change it
Everything a customer sees on an invoice comes from two places: Settings → Business for your name and contact details, and Settings → Customize for your logo and colours.
Your name and contact details
Settings → Business holds your business name, phone number, and address. These print at the top of every invoice and proposal.
The phone number is the one worth checking. It's how a customer reaches you about a bill, and a missing one makes an invoice look like something they shouldn't pay.
Your logo and colours
Settings → Customize is where you upload a logo and pick your colours. Those carry through to what your customers see: the invoice page, the pay screen, proposals.
It also changes how Fieldsmith looks for you, so if you'd rather work in a dark theme that's the same place.
Tax and payment terms
Settings → Pricing & invoicing holds your tax rate and how many days a customer has to pay. The terms are what makes an invoice show as overdue later.
How you get paid
Settings → Payments is where card and bank payments get switched on, and where you'd add Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle handles if you'd rather be paid that way.
