Ask customers for Google reviews
Connect your Google listing once, and every invoice a customer pays asks them for a Google review. Nothing gets sent: the ask sits on the invoice page they already have open, right after they pay.
Connecting your listing
Open Growth, then Ask for reviews the easy way. The card shows one of two ways in.
If it shows a search box, type your business name, tap it in the list, check it's yours, and tap Yes, that's mine. The card then shows your current Google rating each time you open it.
If it asks for a link, tap Open my Google reviews. On Google, tap Get more reviews, then Copy. Come back and paste it in.
Either way the card ticks itself once it's set.
What your customers see
Once an invoice is paid, the page asks how you did, with a way to leave you a review on Google. Pick how it looks on the card: a button, a row of stars, or a short thank-you note signed with your first name.
With the note, you can write the message yourself under Your note. The thank-you and your name stay the same. Keep it to plain words with no links. Google doesn't allow offering anything for a review, like a discount, or asking for five stars.
It never shows on a bill that's still owed, and customers who pay by check won't see it unless they open their invoice link again.
Not on Google yet?
You need a Google Business Profile first. It's free: set it up with Google, then come back to the card.
Changing or turning it off
Open the card and tap Change or turn off to connect a different listing. Your current one keeps working until the new one is saved.
To stop asking, tap Change or turn off, then Stop asking for reviews.
To check where customers land, tap Open my review link. It opens the same Google page they see.
Fieldsmith doesn't text customers asking for reviews. The texts customers agree to are about their appointments, invoices, and payments, not review requests.
