By Fieldsmith · Published October 12, 2026

QuoteIQ starts lower: $29.99 a month for one user, against Fieldsmith's $49 Solo plan ($39 billed annually). QuoteIQ has an Android app on every plan. Its satellite property measuring starts at $99.99 a month, QuickBooks sync at $199.99, and route optimization and time tracking at $299.99. Fieldsmith puts every feature in every plan, with Crew at $99 a month for up to 10 people. Both ship a connector for AI assistants.

Key takeaways

  • QuoteIQ's entry price is lower: Essentials is $29.99/month for 1 user. Fieldsmith Solo is $49/month, or $39/month billed annually.
  • For a 10 person crew the order flips: Fieldsmith Crew is $99/month, and QuoteIQ's 10 user plan, Elite, is $299.99/month.
  • QuoteIQ has things Fieldsmith does not: an Android app, satellite property measuring, QuickBooks sync, time tracking, live crew location, and a saved card charged on a schedule.
  • Fieldsmith publishes its payment fees (card 3.2% + 30¢, bank 1% capped at $20). We did not find a card or bank rate on QuoteIQ's pricing or payments pages.
  • Both connect to AI assistants. QuoteIQ's page names Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok; Fieldsmith's connector is for Claude.

What you pay, solo and with a crew

If you work alone, QuoteIQ is the cheaper way in. Essentials is $29.99 a month for one user and covers estimates, invoices, scheduling, online payments, and recurring jobs. Fieldsmith Solo is $49 a month, or $39 billed annually.

The gap is in what sits above that first plan. On QuoteIQ, satellite measuring and its photo tool start on Beginner at $99.99 a month. QuickBooks sync, job costing, and email and text automation start on Pro at $199.99. Route optimization, dispatching, and time tracking start on Elite at $299.99. Its AI features draw on a monthly allowance of IQ Credits: 500 on Essentials, up to 8,000 on Max, and unused credits do not roll over.

Fieldsmith's plans are priced by the size of your team, not by which features you can use. When you hire, Crew is $99 a month for up to 10 people, and there are no add-ons to buy. QuoteIQ's plan with 10 users is Elite at $299.99 a month, and extra users on any plan are $25 a month each. Essentials with nine extra users also reaches 10 seats, at $254.99 a month, with the Essentials feature list.

Where QuoteIQ wins

Measuring from the truck. MapMeasure Pro lets you outline a lawn, driveway, or roof on a satellite map and drops the square footage onto the estimate. For a pressure washer quoting by the square foot, or a lawn company bidding without a site visit, that is a real time saver. Fieldsmith has nothing like it.

Billing a mowing route on autopilot. QuoteIQ's lawn care page says every plan, including Essentials, can put a maintenance plan on AutoPay so the card is charged each month. Fieldsmith books the next recurring visit when you finish the current one, but it does not charge a saved card on a schedule.

Android, books, and crews. QuoteIQ lists iPhone and Android apps on every plan, QuickBooks on Pro and up, and time tracking with live location on Elite and up. Fieldsmith has an iPhone app and works in any phone's web browser, and it has none of the other three.

QuoteIQ also has an AI phone team that answers calls, on every plan, paid for per call minute out of your IQ Credits.

Getting paid: what each one tells you up front

Fieldsmith takes one fee per payment and publishes it: 3.2% + 30¢ on a card, or 1% capped at $20 from a bank account. A $45 mow paid by card costs $1.74. A $600 house wash costs $19.50 by card or $6 by bank. A $3,000 driveway and roof job paid by bank costs $20.

QuoteIQ runs payments through Stripe with no monthly or setup fee to turn them on, and offers bank payments on every plan. Its payments page says rates vary by payment method and account setup. We did not find a card or bank percentage on its pricing or payments pages, so ask for the number before you sign up.

Fieldsmith also prints your Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and Zelle handles on the invoice with a code the customer can scan. Those payments carry no Fieldsmith fee. You mark the invoice paid yourself.

Running it from an AI assistant

Both products ship a connector, so this is not a point either one owns. QuoteIQ's page names Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok, includes the connector on every plan from $29.99 a month, and says changes wait for your approval in QuoteIQ by default. Only the account owner can connect an assistant.

Fieldsmith's connector is for Claude. You can ask what's on today, book a job, create and email an invoice, move a job, or record a payment. By default Claude checks with you before it changes anything.

Built with the people using it

There are no upsell calls, because there is nothing to upsell. Setup is guided by the team that builds Fieldsmith.

Which one to pick

  • Pick QuoteIQ if you need an Android app, want to measure properties from satellite, need QuickBooks sync or time tracking and are ready for the plan that includes it, or want a saved card charged every month for a mowing route.
  • Pick Fieldsmith if you want one price with every feature included, expect to grow past a couple of people, work from an iPhone, take a lot of Venmo or Zelle, or want the payment fee in writing before you start.
