Recurring jobs

A job can repeat weekly, every two weeks, monthly, or quarterly. When you mark one complete, Fieldsmith puts the next one on the calendar.

Setting it up

Mark the job as recurring when you create it and pick how often. Everything else about the job (customer, address, service, price) carries to each repeat.

The next one appears when you finish this one

The next occurrence is created at the moment you complete the current one, not weeks in advance. So your calendar shows the work that's actually coming, not a wall of placeholders.

The flip side: if you never mark one complete, the next one never appears.

Changing or stopping it

Editing one occurrence changes that one. To stop the series, turn recurring off on the job. Future occurrences stop being created.
