Service types
Service types are the work you offer: mowing, a service call, an inspection. They show on jobs, they're what a price book prices against, and they're what customers pick from on your booking page.
Setting them up
Settings → Service types. Keep the names the ones you'd actually say to a customer. This list is the vocabulary of your whole account.
Where they show up
On every job, as what the work is. On invoices, as the line description. On your booking page, as the options. And if you price from a price book, the service type is what picks the price.
Changing one later
Jobs already booked keep the price they were given when the service was picked. Renaming or repricing a service doesn't reach back and rewrite work you've already scheduled.
