Help / Jobs and scheduling

Moving a job

Open the job and change the date or time. Nothing else has to happen. The schedule, your day, and anyone assigned to it all follow.

What moves with it

Your Route or Dispatch board for both days. If you have crew, whoever it's assigned to sees the new time.

What it does to money

Nothing, unless you also change how long the job is. If you bill hourly, the invoice is built from the scheduled duration, so stretching a job from one hour to two changes what it bills.

A job that's already been invoiced won't have its bill rewritten by a reschedule.

Telling the customer

Fieldsmith doesn't automatically tell a customer their time moved. That's still a call or a text from you.
