The Next Job widget
Next Job puts your next stop on your home or lock screen: the customer, the time, and the address. Tapping it opens that job in the app.
Adding it
Long-press your home screen or lock screen, add a widget, and pick Fieldsmith. There are three to choose from.
When the day's done
It stops showing a next stop, because there isn't one. It doesn't roll forward to tomorrow. The point of it is what's happening now.
If it looks stale
iOS decides how often widgets refresh, so there can be a lag after a change. Opening the app updates everything immediately.
