Help / Crew

Adding crew members

Adding someone to your crew lets you assign jobs to them. Inviting them on top of that gives them their own way in, where they see their work and nothing else.

Adding someone

Open Crew and add a person. A name is enough to start assigning them work. You can do that without them ever logging in, which is how a lot of shops run.

Giving them access

If you want them checking their own schedule and marking jobs done, send them an invite. They get their own login to a stripped-down version of Fieldsmith built for being in the field.

What crew can see

Their own work: the jobs assigned to them, the customer and address for those jobs, and the ability to move a job along as they do it.

They don't see your money. Invoices, what you charge, what's come in, your settings: none of that is on their side.

Working on your own

If it's just you, you don't need any of this. Fieldsmith assigns your jobs to you and Crew won't be in your way.
